In two shades

Man and woman

Love and hate

Spring and autumn

 

Between them

Sex, kids and money

Lust, passion and sobriety

Seed, harvest and famine

 

As if you didn’t know this

You do and so do I

Yet we seek a blend of shade

Neither here nor there

That, my friend,

Is where our problem lies

Being Single again

How lonely I become

In your presence

How far I go

At your touch

How I glow

By your side in the dark

How I need a redemption

From your addiction

How I need a space

Not scented with your smell

A food not mixed with your sweat

A life outside of your senses
